Schramm Equestrian is a working training operation. We focus on developing horses and riders through patient, progressive eventing work — and on matching the right horse to the right home when a sale is the right next step.

Schramm Equestrian centers on the journey of two riders building competitive careers in the demanding sport of three-day eventing. The program is rooted in a working farm environment where training, horsemanship, and competition planning come together as a single discipline, allowing horses and riders to progress through clearly defined stages of development at a sustainable pace.

Dom Schramm's background brings an international perspective to the operation, shaped by time spent training with established eventing riders known for producing horses and combinations capable of competing at upper levels. That exposure informs an approach that balances ambition with patience, emphasizing fundamentals such as rhythm, balance, and confidence across all three phases of eventing.

Jimmie Schramm contributes an equally hands-on role, overseeing daily routines and the long-term conditioning of horses in work. The partnership between the two riders allows for shared decision-making around training plans, competition schedules, and horse welfare, creating a stable routine that horses can settle into while still being challenged appropriately.

The training services offered through the farm are designed to accommodate a range of experience levels, from young horses being introduced to eventing through to established combinations refining their technique. Lessons and clinics focus on building solid flatwork, reliable cross-country skills, and confident show jumping, with each session tailored to the specific needs of horse and rider.

Horses available through the program are developed with future owners and partners in mind, often with structured opportunities for involvement such as syndication or partial ownership. This approach allows new supporters to participate in the eventing journey while sharing the responsibilities and rewards that come with developing competitive horses over time.
